Where can you go to get help or services?
Access to the new Family Centres due to open in Walton and Molesey
Ask your Health Visitor or other professional supporting you if in the future you believe your family would benefit from direct support. They will be able to make a referral to the local Family Centres which will be operational from mid-November.
There will be no general access to the family centres without a referral.
Surrey County Council have the FIS (Family Information Service). We have a link on our website at the moment. www.surreycc.gov.uk/people-and-community/family-information-service/support-and-advice-for-parents-and-carers.
The FIS website covers a range of subjects including childcare, family finance, parenting support and education. You can also visit the Surrey Local Offer website for Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND) information and help.
You can use the comprehensive Family Information Directory to find services, support groups, activities, events and more. And if you need some extra help you can always get in touch with them via our online form, by email, phone, and social media or through the FIS Community Engagement Workers.
